Reliable Experience
The nursery was first opened by Jim Hischier and Bob Gillispie in 1991, with just a few plants and a big dream. Since then the nursery has grown to several thousand plants, specializing in crepe myrtles and japanese maples with many other plants as well. Bob’s son David joined his father and uncle in 2013 working full time at the nursery, after he graduated Chico state with a degree in horticulture.
